Surprise Party Yo!

Happy Birfday Joey!

Saturday night, Joey had his very first surprise party! It was uber exciting and a total hit! Ms. Nancy came up with the idea a while ago and then it all kind just happened. However, it was tricky keeping Joey in the dark. Ms. Nancy and Ms. Corene brought up over 50 lbs of amazing cajun food and had to make it seem like that was normal for a dinner party of 6 people, ha! Then, we had to time it so we could get Joey out of the apartment and all of his friends in the apartment, without them seeing each other. Somehow it all worked...perfectly too. Cause he sure was surprised when he opened that door!! Actually, embarrassed was the word he had used. 

All of our favorite friends came out for the cause: Ian, Blaine, Mark, Katee, Mike, and Megha!

We don't have a top to our blender, so Ms. Corene used the top of our salt shaker....coonass style. :)

All credit is owed to these people! Their food was the talk of the town and they slaved in the kitchen all night. Our friends are all super jealous that we know people that can cook/make margaritas like them. I would be too.....mmmhmmm!

Somehow the theme of the party became-everyone sit on Joey's lap! *shrugs shoulders*

After the party we headed over to Dave and Buster's in Time Square to play some games, and then headed over to some bars in the West Village.
