Superbowl Party

Let's hit the rewind button to this time last year: Out of the 8 million people swarming around Manhattan we felt like we could call 7 of them our friends. We'd thought it would be fun to have them over for a Superbowl bash at our place. We spent the whole day cooking Gumbo, had king cakes shipped up, the whole nine yards. Well, by kickoff time every single person had canceled on us. Huge pet peeve of ours. Huge. If you say you are coming to something, have the courtesy to show up. Please? Thanks :) If not, then, we can't be friends.

Fast forward to this year, every single person we invited rsvp'd yes and showed up. We were actually worried about too many people coming because of the limited space, but it worked out.

And a little fyi, we no longer talk to any of those people who were invited to our bash last year. We have real friends now. :)

Megha's gonna be having her birthday party at a Mardi Gras Ball party here in the city. Should be fun!

Weather here is the same ol' story, too cold. Tuesday it was snowing like crazy, which sucks to walk in when it's super windy. This morning it was 13 degrees. Luckily on Sunday it is supposed to get up in the 50's! I am going to be spending my entire day outdoors, it's gonna be like summer!
